The Landings Golf Course is an 18-hole, par-63, executive length golf course, perfectly located in the west end of Kingston. The 4200-yard layout and full practice range sit adjacent to the Norman Rogers Airport, at the corner of Bayridge Drive and Front Road.
Construction of the golf course began in 1999, and was the brainchild of local businessman Jim Barber. Mr. Barber, along with a dedicated group of investors, financed the initial design and construction of an 18-hole golf course and practice facility, on previously barren lands at the airport. Shortly after ground was broken on the construction, the late Dr. Jack Parker, a world-renowned cardiologist and avid golfer, invested in the golf course. Dr. Parker, along with Mr. Barber, continued to be partners, and very involved in activities at the course until Dr. Parker’s death in 2015.
The Landings has come a long way from its early days. With a fantastic location, great practice and teaching facilities and lesson programs, a fun and well-maintained golf course, and a commitment to excellence, The Landings has emerged as a premiere public golf facility in Kingston. The Mens and Womens Nights regularly host 100 players per night; the junior program is widely regarded as the best in Kingston; and the greens are consistently some of the best around. These are just a sample of some of the successes you can enjoy at The Landings.
The Landings welcomes you to come and visit the course, and to experience all that we have to offer.
